OCHRE & INK FILM SCREENING
Q & A WITH ZHOU XIAOPING
Ochre and Ink is a documentary film about the extraordinary story of Chinese-Australian artist Zhou Xiaoping and his inspiring but sometimes controversial collaboration with Aboriginal artists in remote Arnhem Land over 23 years since his migration to Austraila in 1988. In the film, Xiaoping and artist Johnny Bulunbulun prepare for the highly anticipated opening of their exhibition in Beijing, but events take a dramatic turn.
The film won a Special Jury Prize at the 9th Pacific International Documentary Film Festival in Tahiti this February, and has been selected by several international film festivals. At this special screening, the audience will meet Zhou Xiaoping and film director James Bradley and have the opportunity to ask questions.
